Becoming a parent can feel like you’ve moved to a different planet. The days and nights are upside down, you’re handling a lot of new equipment, and there’s a tiny alien yelling in a language you don’t understand.
You’re not the first parent to wonder why you’ve been entrusted with a little person without an instruction manual. The 40 weeks (give or take) of pregnancy allow time for more than just picking out names; it’s your opportunity to plan and prepare.
Since your hospital stay will be brief, your transition home may be made easier if you have prepared for well in advance of your baby’s birth.
